Chattanooga Tamil Palli (CTP) was founded to create an interesting educational platform for children and young adults living in the Chattanooga, TN area to love and learn about Tamil - an ancient South Asian Language that has a great history & rich literature and the longest surviving traditional Culture. The students will learn to Read, Write and Converse the language through fun activities and games. CTP is functioning under Chattanooga. Chattanooga Tamil Academy is established as a non-profit organization with the mission to provide Tamil culture, festivals, language education and education-related activities pursuant to the guidelines of United States Internal Revenue Code, Title 26 of the U.S. Code, § 501 (c)(3).

Our School

To familiarize the Tamil Culture and teach Tamil language in a structured and professional environment, for children age 3 and above, in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area, in order to expose them to Tamil culture and its continuous relevance to becoming a good global citizen. With the help of County, we conduct Tamil Classes in East Brainerd Elementary School.

Location and Timing

Our Tamil School runs every Friday between 6PM and 8.00 PM (EST) at East Brainerd Elementary, 7660 Goodwin Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
